 The Limerick Market Trustees re-opened the Milk Market in Limerick following a €2 million redevelopment including Ireland's largest single mast canopy structure to provide an all-weather outdoor market experience.
Tony Scott, the Project Director from Horseshoe Creek, provided the resources to manage the development on behalf of the Trustees from process redesign and canopy conception to construction; design and delivery of key modern facilities and new market stalls. The market was delivered on budget and only two weeks late despite 5 weeks delays caused by cold weather during the winter period.
The market is open for 3 days per week (Fri-Sun) with the pavilion and courtyard shops being open most days of the week.
